what are some metaphors from Romeo and Juliet play?

what are some metaphors from Romeo and Juliet play? please tell me the act and scene its from and what it means.

A metaphor is a figure of speech that suggests that two dissimilar things are actually the same.
Probably the most famous example in Romeo and Juliet is in 2.2. The second line actually contains 2 metaphors:
"But soft, what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Juliet is the sun."

The light from the window is compared to the east and Juliet is compared to the sun, in a way that states that the light IS the east and Juliet IS the sun. If this comparison were a simile it would read,

But soft, what light through yonder window breaks?
It looks like the east, and Juliet is like the sun.

Romeo is more definite. To him, Juliet isn't LIKE the sun, she IS the sun.

You will find many more metaphors in the play by reading it carefully.
