What country did vaco Nunez de balboa represent?
Vasco Nunez de Balboa was Spanish - born 1475 in Jerez de los Caballeros and died in Acla (now part of Panama) in 1519.
He seems to be an unwilling participant in the Exploration process. He was settled in Haiti when creditors 'encouraged' him to leave and thus he explored parts of the Caribbean, establishing a new colony in what is now Panama.
