When Did Cable Tv Start?

what does cable-std, cable-hrc, % cable -irc stand for?

when hooking up you antenna or cable to your tv for reception or to veiw the programs available in your area

"HRC" is harmonically related carriers. "IRC" is incrementally related carriers. These are ways the cable company can modulate the video signal to improve the quality of thier analog transmission.

if you're using antenna, then obviously use the antenna selection. broadcast TV and cable TV use an entirely different set of frequencies. broadcast channel 20 is actually somewhere around cable channel 72!! if you're using cable, start off with the cable-std setting...this is what most systems use..however, if that signal doesn't work very well, then try either the cable-hrc or cable-irc settings.

Is Comcast Digital Cable HRC, IRC, or STD?

I'm trying to auto program my TV, a Samsung Series 4 430, but I don't know what type of cable Comcast is. I don't use a cable box because my TV is cable ready, if that helps.

How to extend LVDS CABLE or LED LCD cable. ?

I'm trying to extend a LVDS cable. I used normal Wire but signal interruption disturbs the quality. I even used insulated LAN cable but it didn't work. I need if anyone can. Please.

Please explain exactly what your final objective is. What is LED or LCD cable if not a HDMI cable or a RF coaxial cable to the tuner of a TV set? I do not understand your question. Please clarify if possible.

How can you connect directly to a router for configuration purposes?

Select 3: A.Parallel cable B.USB cables C.Crossover cable D.Rollover cable

Rollover cable

Rollover cable (also known as Cisco console cable) is a type of null-modem cable that is most commonly used to connect a computer terminal to a router's console port. This cable is typically flat (and has a light blue color) to help distinguish it from other types of network cabling. It gets the name rollover because the pinouts on one end are reversed from the other, as if the wire had been rolled over and you were viewing it from the other side.
