Classification of fruit and vegetable is not based on botany but purely on its utilization whether a particular fruit is used as a vegetable or fruit. e.g. Banana when raw is used as a vegetable and on ripening used as a fruit.

What is the worst vegetable, and worst fruit, and best vegetable, and best fruit?

It's just a random question. I'm vegan and I love almost all fruits, and most vegetables. :]

Worst vegetable--zucchini

Worst fruit--black olives

Best vegetable--I like beets with lemon juice, but not so much on their own. I'd probably go with beets with lemon juice; carrots if the vegetable has to be alone.

Best fruit--for me, it is a tossup between the jalapeno pepper and the avocado. Again, I'd probably go with avocados if they are topped with lime juice; jalapenos if the fruit must stand alone.

What is the difference between a fruit and a vegetable?

I was wondering if fruit grows on trees and plants and vegetable's grow in the ground. But I am not 100% sure.

A fruit is actually the sweet, ripened ovary or ovaries of a seed-bearing plant. A vegetable, in contrast, is an herbaceous plant cultivated for an edible part (seeds, roots, stems, leaves, bulbs, tubers, or nonsweet fruits). So, to be really nitpicky, a fruit could be a vegetable, but a vegetable could not be a fruit.
The Nutriquest team offers a similar answer, adding that most fruits are sweet because they contain a simple sugar called fructose, while most vegetables are less sweet because they have much less fructose. The sweetness of fruit encourages animals to eat it and thereby spread the seeds. The site also presents an interesting list of fruits that are often thought to be vegetables:

tomatoes
cucumbers
squashes and zucchini
avocados
green, red, and yellow peppers
peapods
pumpkins
