In What Year Was American Independence Declared?

HELP can any one give me independence years of Central America?

there are a couple different ones but for most of C Am it is 1823. To wit,

n 1821 a congress of Central American criollos declared their independence from Spain, effective on 15 September of that year. That date is still marked as the independence day by most Central American nations. The Spanish Captain General, Gabino Gaínza, sympathized with the rebels and it was decided that he should stay on as interim leader until a new government could be formed. Independence was short-lived, for the conservative leaders in Guatemala welcomed annexation by the Mexican Empire of Agustín de Iturbide on 5 January 1822. Central American liberals objected to this, but an army from Mexico under General Vicente Filisola occupied Guatemala City and quelled dissent.

When Mexico became a republic the following year, it acknowledged Central America's right to determine its own destiny. On 1 July 1823, the congress of Central America declared absolute independence from Spain, Mexico, and any other foreign nation, and a Republican system of government was established

Was George Washington Constitutionally eligible to be president?

The Constitution requires the president to be resident in the United States for 14 years. Did George Washington satisfy this requirement?

Good question:
Although 1776, was when Virginia declared independence from the British Empire, the Continental Congress appointed Washington commander-in-chief of the American revolutionary forces a year earlier in 1775. His service of his country as an American began a year before it's independence. He became President 14 years later in 1789.

Declaration of Independence?

What is it ? Is it a statement?

the declaration of independence is a document, that signifies that a nation has gain independence.
many people associate the declaration of independence with america, although many other countries have one.

The United States Declaration of Independence is a statement adopted by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, announcing that the thirteen American colonies then at war with Great Britain were no longer a part of the British Empire. Written primarily by Thomas Jefferson, the Declaration is a formal explanation of why Congress had voted on July 2 to declare independence from Great Britain, more than a year after the outbreak of the American Revolutionary War. The birthday of the United States of America—Independence Day—is celebrated on July 4, the day the wording of the Declaration was approved by Congress.

How did the American revolution impact Europe?

its for my history assignment which is due Monday. i need as much information as possible.

One impact was the realization that all the European colonies in the New World were watching the Americans as they declared and obtained their independence and could therefore see that it was possible to gain sovereignty.
Plus, many of the American ideals in the Declaration of Independence and in the U.S.Constitution inspired France to have its own revolution, the French Revolution, which was their attempt to overthrow their monarchy and erect a Republic.
Napoleon of course took over after all the French Revolution drama ended and he conquered much of Europe spreading more ideas about liberty, equality, and brotherhood. This lead to revolutions throughout Europe, such as the Revolutions of 1848.
And one by one European countries lost their foothold in the New World as colony after colony fought wars of independence such as Haiti, Mexico, Columbia, etc.
