How To Cancel Auto Refill On Straight Talk?

How Should I Go About Switching Services?

Ok, so I have Straight Talk service with the LG620G. It's a pretty good phone except the service lacks in so many ways. Every time I go outside of my town, dead zone. Some times while I'm in my town, dead zone. Even in my home I barely have 3 bars. So, I'm switching to Virgin Mobile and I'm getting the AWESOME Samsung Intercept with the $45 plan. My question is, how do switch my number from Straight Talk to Virgin Mobile quickly? And my side question, I'm currently enrolled in Straight Talk's Auto Refill. How do I cancel it and start Auto Top Up with Virgin Mobile?

Do not cancel with straight talk because you will not be able to keep your number. It has to stay active. You will have to call straight talk and get your account number, then go to virgin mobile and tell them you want to switch and give them your account number from straight talk. They will then cancel it and switch it for you. Then you should probably call straight talk again and make sure their records show you no longer have service with them and that the charges will stop.

straight tallk phone should i refill on the day or day before?

I would say to do it at the end of the last day, as you still have service, but it will end at the end of that day. So refilling it should then start it again at the time you refill it.

Here's some excerpts from their site:

How can I refill my Straight Talk Account?
Straight Talk offers two flexible Account Refill Options:
Auto-Refill (Most Convenient)

Just register your credit or debit card and every 30 days your Straight Talk Account will be refilled with $45 (unlimited talk, text and/or multimedia messages, and Mobile Web Access) or $30 (1000 minutes, 1000 text and/or multimedia messages plus 30MB of data). 30MB of data delivers about 300 web pages. You can cancel at any time without penalty or switch plans when you choose.

Refill on DemandYou can refill your Account as often as you need by purchasing more Straight Talk services with a credit or debit card at StraightTalk.com or by calling 1-877-430-Cell (2355). You can also refill with a Straight Talk Service Card available at participating Wal-Mart locations or Walmart.com.

What happens when I refill my Straight Talk Account?
Every refill resets your account balance to the amount you have purchased. When you refill your account with $45, you will receive unlimited talk, text, and/or multimedia messages and Mobile Web Access during a 30 day service period on enable phones. When you refill your account with $30, you will receive 1000 minutes, 1000 messages, plus 30MB of data during a 30 day service period on enable phones. There is no carryover of unused service.

Prescription refill question?

I have a script that I need refilled. I still have one refill left and I was just curious if the pharmacist is going to need to call my doctor in order them to refill it? Or will they just refill it since I do have 1 refill left?

As long as a refill remains on the prescription, they won't need to contact your doctor to refill it. But when no refills remain, it's usually the patient's responsibility to get a new prescription, which usually means a doctor appointment.
