How Long Does It Take To Tone Up Doing Pilates?

How fast does pilates tone? How often do i need to do it to get tone by april? What would you like to ask? 24 - and i eat some wut healthy.. no junk food. cut down sugars. etc 140 5'4 - ive lost 10 pounds and i have been able to keep it off. now i want to tone my body. am not fat or anything but i def need to tone. I will be doing pilates 2 days a wk and running am hoping two days a wk..... will that be enough...

I like pilates because they are good core workouts and are low to moderate intensity. When I started doing pilates (every day)...I felt good right off the bat but noticed results in probably 2 weeks. Your routine sounds good! Start off at a good pace for both pilates and running and if you stay committed you will build up your endurance and hopefully see and feel the difference in NO time! Good luck

How long till I see results from pilates?

I've started doing pilates for 50 minutes everyday. When will I see results? I'm not fat or anything and I'm not trying to lose weight. I just want to tone my arms, stomach and especially my inner thighs? Will my thighs seem smaller after about a month? And yes I do eat healthy.

Since you are already fit you should see results soon. I did this Pilates transform your body in 30 days challenge I took before and after photos and I also took all my measurements I definitely saw results by a month =)

Is it good for a beginner in pilates to do it more than once a week?

I'd like to start doing pilates. I'm in track so I have a mostly leg muscle and I want to do it over the summer. Should I do it more than once a week ?

Pilates can benefit your overall health and sense of well-being in many ways. I have been doing Pilates for three years and I have seen for myself how challenging, yet effective it is.

How long before seeing results with Pilates?

I've started doing Pilates 30-45 minutes every other day. Appoximately how long will it take before I start seeing results? I realize it's not going to happen overnight, but just curious as to when I might start noticing a difference. Although I'd like to tone up all over, my main concern is firming up my stomach/waist/hip area.

I'd say 3-6 weeks to see results. Keep at it. Perserverance is key.

How long will it take me to lose weight doing pilates and stationary bike?

I'm 28 years old with three children under my belt. I'm at 140 right now and my goal is to be 120. I'm not overweight being that I'm 5'7 but I'm not in that great of shape and miss being small and petite. Could some aerobics with the pilates do it and how long before I see results from it?

The only way to find out is to do it and see what happens. There are too many variables including how much you excercise and how often, how much you eat, what you eat, how often you eat, your metabolism, etc. And if you aren't overweight, maybe you shouldn't lose 20 pounds, maybe you should just tone up what you have.
