How Deep Is Lake Superior At Its Deepest Point?

Has anyone ever taken pictures of the deepest part of Lake Superior?

I have been looking for pics of the deepest part of Lake Superior, but I can never find any. Seems strange to me that the largest fresh water lake - is studied so little. Has there ever been any photos taken of the deepest part of the bottom of Lake Superior? What is it's structure? What type of rocks are there?

no one has ever been down there. if you want to undertake this endeavour, contact me, ill go with you.

What is the deepest lake in the world?

I once read about a volcanic lake somewhere that is the deepest water body in the world. If I remember correctly, it is in fact so deep that its bottom depth is not known because it has never been reached. The deepest depth recorded in this lake, which was not the bottom, exceeds that of the deepest know part of the ocean. Am I remembering wrong? What is it called and where is it?

Lake Baikal in eastern Siberia. - At 1,637 meters (5,370 ft), Lake Baikal is the deepest lake in the world, and the largest freshwater lake in the world by volume. Lake Baikal was formed in an ancient rift valley and therefore, is long and crescent-shaped with a surface area (31,494 km2/12,160 sq mi), less than that of Lake Superior or Lake Victoria. Baikal is home to more than 1,700 species of plants and animals, two thirds of which can be found nowhere else in the world and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. At more than 25 million years old, it is the oldest lake in the world. According to wiki!
